Embracing change

Change is constant. The universe is constantly
expanding, and natural processes are changing
the life around us. We are witnessing other changes too, the unprecedented change to our planetary
ecological boundaries and the alarming speed of
destruction, that human activities have on the
ecosystems. The Forth Industrial Revolution is
bringing another way of transforming our lives at a scale and impact unseen before human history.
We embrace change for social good and provide
agile and long-term strategies for a changing world.

Hybrid habitats

A new paradigm shift is needed, as the world we know is passing away. Yet, people created
sustainable habitats for around 12,000 years and there was a time in human history when we lived in harmony with nature and each other. We specialise
in creating hybrid habitats, science-based, with a sound knowledge of the past, a mix of traditional
and frontier technologies, and multidisciplinary
collaboration. We apply this analytical process
and thorough research to design thinking at various scales: space, regional, urban, architectural, product, and new materials.

3 ideas are a proud member of the New European Bauhaus (of the European Commission) Community of Friends, and it has set up a Design Lab
exploring sustainability, inclusivity, and aesthetics in design practice and thinking. We are committed to carrying on the legacy of the original Bauhaus School through beautiful, sustainable, inclusive, creative, and interdisciplinary projects in Europe and beyond.
